One of the oldest churches on Corfu, the remnants of a castle where a Venetian knight made home, the old Venetian shipyard where you can see the arches that mark the construction areas for the building of ships and you can only be on a summer holiday to Kontokali. The resort is a small coastal village where the blue flag, pristine beach is owned by the overlooking hotel but no charge is made. Edged by gorgeously green trees it’s sandy with a few pebbles and there are showers and sun beds and the hotel welcomes you to use its facilities proving that a Kontokali summer holiday is a friendly affair. There’s a smaller beach to the left of the main which is also well equipped but is mostly enjoyed by Corfiots enjoying their summer holiday to Kontokali.
