10 minutes walk through tree lined lanes and below the village you’ll find a beautiful uncrowded beach. Even though separate from the main settlement the beach is the focus of any summer holiday to Pelekas and you’ll find that it’s clean and well equipped. There’s a dinky little harbour to the south where you can watch the daily catch come in or there are plenty of water sports to try your hand at. Or back to those rocks mentioned earlier because a summer holiday to Pelekas has become known for them. Between Pelekas beach and Glyfada beach there are some towering outcrops rising to some 40ft which are used for jumping into the sea. Join in and you become immortalised as one of those who have plunged into the sea as seen on TV.
