Summer Holidays to St Julian's
St Julian's Sun Holidays Review and Guide
Club land has finally arrived in Malta and can be found on a summer holiday to St. Julian’s Bay. Late night (early morning) clubs are now the main attraction particularly around Paceville and with all the other attractions Malta has to offer, the club scene is now thriving as well as the island’s reputation as a major music venue. Inevitably, a resort grows to cater for its influx of new visitors and on a St. Julian’s summer holiday you are more likely to come across a famous hamburger chain before the hidden local gems of bistros and tavernas.
Despite being the newly crowned capital of Maltese nightlife, a summer holiday to St Julian’s does not lack the traditional attractions of the islands other resorts. The old fishing houses still line the harbour front of Spinola Bay, rock bathing sites are plentiful and there is a tiny but lovely sandy beach at St. Georges. Other forms of entertainment on a St. Julian’s summer holiday include a casino, bowling, cinemas, and amusement arcades and of course a variety of excellent water sports.
A summer holiday to St. Julian’s Bay is an excellent base for exploring Malta as it has good transport links or you can hire a car that you drive on the left. Malta teems with reminders of a long and diverse history and the island is proud of its heritage.
Whether you are a sun worshipper, a culture vulture or a diver, there is plenty for all on a St. Julian’s summer holiday.
